Overview & Purpose
This announcement is in addition to our Privacy Policy and gives more details about the rights and obligations created by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the residents of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) / California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) for the residents of California.
Database Providers processes contact information strictly for legitimate business purposes. We focus on business-related and publicly available professional contact details and only process such information when permitted by applicable law.
Roles — Controller and Processor
We take on the role of a data controller whenever we decide the reasons and methods of personal data processing, for instance, in relation to our licensing or data enhancement services.
There are specific scenarios in which we are acting as a data processor and processing personal data under a written contract with the client according to that client's instructions.
GDPR — Rights of EEA Data Subjects
If you are a resident of the EEA, you have specific rights under the GDPR, including the right to:
